The Top Cases TR41 and TR46 in the Terra families have been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award 2026 in the Product Design category. In this way, SHAD continues to consolidate its worldwide leadership in design and innovation in the motorcycle equipment sector, especially regarding plastic cases.
The international panel of judges highlighted its robust design and alignment with trends in the adventure segment, where functional square shapes are the norm. Manufactured from reinforced polypropylene, both models combine sturdiness, lightweight design, and versatility, offering top performance both on and off the road.
Its main difference lies in its capacity: The TR41 can hold two jet helmets and a maximum load of 5 kilos, while the TR46 can store one modular helmet and one size-M jet helmet for a maximum load of 6 kilos.
The Red Dot Award is one of the world’s most prestigious awards in the field of design. Awarded by an independent panel of international expert judges, it recognizes products that stand out for their innovation, aesthetic quality, and functionality. Among the winning brands from previous editions are global leaders such as Apple, BMW, and Bose.
This new recognition strengthens SHAD’s commitment to design as a strategic pillar, aimed at offering solutions that combine functionality, convenience, and style for riders around the world.
With this prize, SHAD has already won 18 international design awards, of which six are Red Dot awards: For the SH36 side case (2015), the SH58X expandable trunk (2017), the TERRA aluminum cases (2021), the SH38X expandable side case (2024), the tank bags with the Click System mount (2025), and now, the TR41 and TR46 top cases.
