Turkish rider won ast weekend at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, his third Superbike world title, capping off a great season in which he starred in an exciting duel with Italian Nicolò Bulega.
The BMW rider reached the final round of the championship, of which SHAD is the official sponsor, with a 39-point lead over his main rival. He only needed to finish third in the last race of the weekend to clinch the title, thus capping off a dream season.
The Supersport and Women’s World Championship titles were also decided in Jerez, going to Stefano Manzi and Maria Herrera.
The final round of the championship was a great success in terms of attendance, drawing more than 30,000 fans, including the winners of the ticket giveaway we held among our followers on social media.
