Order preparation and delivery times have improved by 13-59%, depending on the market, thanks to the actions implemented by SHAD’s Operations Department.
Below are some of the actions that we have taken to improve this indicator, which is so important for your distribution activity.
So, we can offer a more agile, reliable, and efficient service, our goal was to optimize administrative management and preparation times, which allows us to minimize errors and, at the same time, improve traceability.
To achieve this, the following initiatives have been implemented:
Order preparation and collection
. Continuous and periodic improvement in the internal organization of order preparation. This applies particularly to the management of large-sized orders.
. Storage capacity is improved by 78%, with a new section in the main case warehouse (more than 1,000 more pallets).
. Hiring and ongoing training of staff in the main warehouse.

. Segmentation of logistics suppliers according to the size of the order, striving for each order to arrive as quickly and efficiently as possible to the customer.
. Regular follow-up with logistics suppliers to improve times and services.
. Carrier changes (UPS in Italy – DHL in Spain).

The results of these actions is an overall improvement in the total times (preparation–delivery–collection) throughout 2025 as compared to 2024, in both direct markets (Spain-France – Italy) and in exports.
